Unveiling my adventures with Python!

I have used Python for 8 years now, and during that time I have learnt a lot and travelled because of Python. I think it's high time I shared those adventures with you and documented them here for posterity!

15+ Years Experience in the ICT industry

What I do

I organise and speak at open-source events. My favourite conference is DjangoCon Africa, which I chaired the first two editions of in 2023 and 2025. Below is some of my work!

Software Engineer

I have worked as a freelance software engineer for many years, combining that with ICT advisory services. I develop websites and do DevOps for my clients, utilising my previous systems administration skills. I also maintain the Django Girls resources by writing code and handling the Ops side for the Django Girls Foundation.

Fundraising Coordinator/Trustee

I coordinate with both prospective and current sponsors for the Django Girls Foundation to ensure it receives adequate funding. Additionally, I give talks and lead sprints at conferences on behalf of the foundation to keep the community of volunteers engaged and encourage more contributions to its open-source resources.
